kaena hood is a haitian american actress, writer, teacher, and overall visual arts geek on a mission to change the world with the art form that is storytelling. she fell in love with performing arts at the age of 11 during her first play on a middle school stage. she has not stopped performing since. kaena received her b. a in theater performance in 2014 at the university of south florida and has worked with a variety of fine professors and international directors through her studies. the usf theater program and the prestigious british international theater program granted her the opportunity to portray challenging leads in unique stage plays such as ti-jean and the original devised piece ravens. after receiving her education, she went on to teach theater to young high school art lovers and mentor students in her hometown, port saint lucie fl. the experience provided her with the tools and leadership skills she needed to propel her to the next challenge in her life. now as a resident of los angeles, aspiring has been intentionally removed from her titles. she is prepared to take over the world while making a significant impact with her platform and creations, one powerful piece of art at a time.
